happy valley elementary school victoria, B.C.   The Happy Valley School is a 2 storey elementary school that utilizes a natural ventilation strategy rather than depending on mechanical fans to provide ventilation to the occupants.  Trickle vent louvers with motorized dampers located under the window provide ventilation.  These trickle vents open and close based on readings from a CO2 sensor located in the space.  The air is relieved through a solar plenum located on the roof.
