Civic Centre

North Vancouver, B.C.

The City of North Vancouver Civic Centre Revitalization project is an $11.5 million major renovation to expand City Hall into the old library. The project partially renovates the existing 1970s modern heritage City Hall building and expands the facility into a recently vacated library structure.

The Civic Centre will utilize the Lonsdale District Energy System to deliver high-efficiency, cost-effective sustainable energy, while reducing community-wide GHG emissions. Mechanical features include: passive ventilation, thermal modeling for comfort conditions, in-slab heating and cooling, and heat recovery ventilation. The project is targeting LEED Silver certification.
