This new construction project is a Fire Hall Facility for the City of Richmond.  The building has been integrated with high efficiency mechanical systems and is looking to achieve LEED Gold certification. The mechanical systems within the building consist of a geo-exchange field, solar domestic water pre-heat, ground source heat pumps, water to water heat pump serving the in-floor radiant heating and heat recovery with a full digital HVAC controls system. The building contains two Apparatus Bays, dorm rooms, training facilities, administrative areas, fitness area, and other office/meeting type areas. AME's role encompassed managing the project from the start of design through the end of construction.
